1999 STATE VOLLEYBALL

The 28th State Volleyball Tournament was held in Lincoln on November 12-13, 1999 with Debra Velder, NSAA Assistant Director, serving as tournament director.

Competition was offered in six classes. The qualifying teams were winners of district finals, plus two Class A and Class B wild-card teams. The wild card teams in Class A were Papillion-LaVista and Millard North. The Class B wild card teams were Beatrice and Ogallala. Two courts were used for the first round and semifinal rounds at Pershing Auditorium on Friday, November 12. Single courts were used at Waverly, Lincoln Christian, Lincoln East and Lincoln Northeast gymnasiums for first round and semifinal matches Friday. All finals were at Pershing on one court on Saturday, November 14. Paid attendance: 37,223.
